Assisting Baltimore City Police

On August 12, 2024 Metro Protective Services and Investigations assisted the Baltimore City Police Department with the road closure on Moravia Road in the Northeast District.

This was due to the heavy rain causing high water over the roadway making it unsafe to travel through.

We always want to assist our local police and citizens of Maryland and remind drivers to never drive through standing or running water on the roadway. Even though it may appear that the water is standing, in-fact, it is most likely that the water is moving and has the potential to wash your vehicle from the roadway putting your life in danger.

Remember, turn around and don't drown!
